Used to be a good pub with good food. I have tried to eat there 3-4 times since new owners. every time I go, they say, ''kitchen closed, it will be open tomorrow''! ha. I tried calling to avoid disappointment, left voice mail etc only to get no call back. When I turned up they said the kitchen was closed and they had left the phone upstairs. Came back a month later to be told, kitchen open tomorrow! couldnt make it up. Dont waste their time, or yours! EDIT: By reading the recent reviews, I am very pleased I didnt eat here after all. =)
Good beer a good crowd a pub on the way up.
A very atmospheric historic pub in the shadow of Farnham castle. It serves great beer and has friendly service. It comes well recommended
Awful. The food took an hour to arrive, they had one person waiting so long his friend went to find out where he had gone. This is how Beef Bourguignon was presented. Laid back staff who kept customers waiting and some gave up and went to another pub. The table next to us also were making complaints. Avoid at all costs.
Very nice pub. Barstaff were very friendly and enjoyed a chat. Decent pint of Pride.
