Very nice and cosy rooms. Though it's right next to the motorway, the rooms are very quiet and you do not hear anything from outside. With the pub in the main building you have good food and drinks around the corner. Perfect stay, thank you!
The staff here are wonderful and friendly. The roast dinner was super tasty and they cater for gluten free needs. Very lovely layout with areas to rrlax and eat more formally. They cater for the muddy cyclist, to thw stable look to the posh glam of us. Dog friendly and such a great atmosphere for a relaxing weekend visit. Highly recommend.
Lovely hotel and great pub with excellent food and being a Fullers pub, London Pride on tap along with a wide selection of other beverages. I had dinner, breakfast and lunch and all meals were superb with good service provided by all staff. Highly recommend.
took a party of nine for lunch. nice venue nice table. spoke to staff about the tepid fries and the tiny mussels. fresh fries arrived promptly and were not charged. when paying, again mentioned poor quality mussels. Manager came to table to apologise. bill was adjusted satisfactorily. service was good and errors promptly rectified. would go again as the chef is in the hands of his suppliers. all settled pleasantly and efficiently.
Can thoroughly recommend this as a lovely place to stay. Very comfortable beds and the nicely decorated rooms were clean and welcoming. The staff were all very friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. We stayed as a family of 7 for two nights over the weekend. The breakfasts were excellent and between us we sampled almost everything. The lunchtime and evening menus were not extensive but everything we ordered was tasty and satisfying. We would most definitely stay here again.
