We like coming to Birdworld and always see new birds we've missed previously. Could do with better drainage in places though as it was a little muddy.

Our little boy loves this place. I feel it could do with a bit of updating, but otherwise value for money is good. Normally a half day for us rather than a full day.

After visiting Farnham castle keep I had a few free hours to spend somewhere while can check-in to the hotel. So I searched for something in the area and this place popped up. Because I like animals, thought I had a chance for Birdworld.Maybe the only down was the admission price, which is a bit high, but later I could see how much would cost to manage this big land in that way how they did, and to be honest I did not regret to pay that price. It was a working day afternoon, so not too many people around, and mostly families and children, but I can imagine that it is much busier at weekends and on bank holidays. The estate is huge enough to walk around for 1-2 hours, however if we spend more time to learn about animals and watching live shows, we can spend there the whole day though.Very informative place, everywhere I could find such a detailed information plate about all animals, birds, even some plants, that it is very interesting even for an adult. There are live shows during the day which we can watch, Safari Train rides, Owl Prowl, Penguin feeding, discovery theatre, etc. which are also interesting for both children or adults. Children enjoy a lot this place, very child-friendly, with play areas made from natural materials, interactive games, so many small restaurant and Ice-cream kiosk, everything is colourful with drawings to raise children's interest. There are plenty of benches everywhere, toilets, food kiosks, restaurant, gift shop. Also, we can visit the Underwater world in front of the entrance with the same ticket. I could make some good pictures and some less good, too, as the grid between the birds and us sometimes very small, and really prevent to take better pictures of those beautiful animals. Anyway, I did enjoy my time, spent there about 2-3 hours, and I can recommend to anyone, especially for families with children, but for adults, too. Car park is huge, free of charge, and the whole place is disability accessed, too.

I would give Birdworld 6 stars if it let me do it!I grew up going to Birdword and it's always a great day out. Fabulous birds and displays and the Penguins are amazing. When we were last there, we met a fabulous Parrot called 'Pickles' as well as some very inquisitive Cockatoos! My only disappointment is that I now live in Virginia, USA and cannot go to Birdworld more often!

We took the family along to visit Father Christmas & it was absolutely incredible.!Everything ran so smooth, the staff were all amazing, the kids loved seeing Santa & waking up the penguin. We then went around Birdworld which was included in the price & it was great. Also after we got a free mince pie & mulled punch, which was a lovely touch. The whole Place was so clean & tidy.I would highly recommend Birdworld.!
