Lovely outdoor space. Perfect for kids to burn energy.I went while snow around good for sledging

TL;DR - nice park, nice scenery, bit hilly, probably about 3km2, roughly 4km if you were to do a circuit around the edge (you only do half of it following the path as the top path leads out if you don't cut down through the middle)Having recently started walking for exercise and just having moved into Farnham in November, I decided to have a look at the nearby park. It's very nice scenery to walk around in. Lots of big old trees and greenery. Plenty of wildlife such as squirrels, birds and deers in addition to the dogs being walked. There is a play park for when the weather gets a little warmer and a nice amount of inclines to make the health benefits greater. My route was entering on foot from the south entrance tucked away behind the end of a residential road. I then followed up the right hand side, along the top and then down through the middle towards town. There are a few entrances, generally around the compass points, and a carpark to the west side. It should be noted there are some fairly steep parts - it's mainly uphill going south to north but the steepest point is just before you reach the town exit going south through the middle of the park. The exit takes you one street away from the east side of the high street (you come out near Slug and a cafe if you fancy a pit stop). It is fairly busy and the path is narrow and steep in places so sturdy footwear is recommended. There are tracks outside of the paths if you have the appropriate footwear. I'd strongly advise an occasional check behind you if you're walking or running with headphones in order to allow others to pass easily and safely.I would highly recommend the park and look forward to building up my fitness doing laps around it.

I cant rate this place high enough! Its perfect for taking some time out and relax in the nature but equally when you walk around you can always meet someone with the dog or going for a walk and its very easy to have a chat. Now that I have a child I love taking her to the multiple playgrounds, there is a big one (our fave) with wooden structures and a castle but there is also a smaller contained one down at St James Road which is perfect for toddlers! I love Farnham park and we are so lucky to have this stunning place in town!

Love farnham park! Great place for everybody: dog walkers, kids, runners... Kids love the play park. It's a good place to visit both in the summer and winter - the park is big and has lovely old trees and meadows. Great running routes too!

Walked on the wild side through cattle grazing area, some cows under the trees - very tranquil. Autumn walk back along the Avenue. Beautiful walk.
