Awful in-store service. Insane sales tactics. Went into our local branch as we are refitting bathroom. Two sales guys stood at the door seemed friendly at first. Started to walk around the store and one of the guys came over and said: "do you need any help?" I replied "no thanks, we're just browsing".Within 5 minutes he came barreling over to us and started to show us specific tiles he picked out, we literally just wanted to walk around the store and look out for something we liked but he proceeded to follow us around the entire store silently, he was so close to us. It was potentially the most uncomfortable experience I've ever had, I get that you need to push sales but doing it this way in such a strange and aggressive manner is just not ok.The guy was clearly not a natural salesman so the whole thing became very strange and awkward but he seemed unaware of this.I actually found a tile that I really liked but the service was so bad I left without buying anything.I saw another couple receiving the same treatment from the other sales guy so it must be in their training.A sales worth around 800 that Topps Tiles have lost.
