The WORST customer service!!! Both myself and my partner have had a joint membership for over 3yrs and whenever requiring to speak to someone about an enquiry they dont want to talk to you, they create a block for you to be able to speak to a manager or a manager will pass a message on to the person on the phone to you rather than talking to you themselves even when theyre stood right there!.None of them seem to have a clue what theyre doing, give the wrong information, poor communication, unprofessional, rude and last but not least absolute MONEY GRABBERS!!!!The only positive thing I can say is I had a great PT whilst I was there and he seems to be the only decent staff member Ive met!It was negative from the start which should of made me cancel immediately, oh but hold on they make you pay 3 MONTHS notice to cancel your membership...I mean why?? Why is that required??!!Absolute joke. Would never return and NEVER spend that sort of money for the terrible service. They need to look at their staff members!!!You would expect high end customer service when spending that ludicrous amount of money each month!. Oh and one more thing...if you want to play tennis in the outdoor courts or sit in the jacuzzi outside the spa then just be prepared to enjoy the smell of potent sewage...makes it so much more relaxing!!!
Thieves. If I could give zero stars I would. My partner wanted to cancel personal training, to be told a months notice and then the trainer "forgot" to do his part signing the forms therefore we have to pay ANOTHER 160. Off the back of this we are going to cancel our joint membership only to be told it is a 3 month notice period that starts the 1st of the following month meaning another 630+ being taken from us for that and yet another 160. You should be ashamed of yourselves. Utter cretins. I cannot begin to express how furious we are and I can assure you this will be the first of many bad reviews from myself and all the other people I know you have messed about.
Becoming increasingly focused on the gym and gym like classes. Almost impossible to book on classes such as pilates and yoga. Racquet sports are being increasingly side-lined. Little serious attention is paid to member feedback.
David Lloyd envy here. My home club is in the Midlands, visited twice while in the area. First time I was disappointed there was no sauna or jacuzzi in the pool. Second visit I booked into the spa and found many saunas plus an extra couple of pools. Great place, really friendly staff happy to help a "visitor". Standard top notch David Lloyd quality across the board, the spa is something else and well worth the extra money if you can get in there for a couple of hours.
Terrible customer service, my mum and myself were given a tour which was fairly informative apart from the information we were being given was wrong, this included the wrong prices being given to us, and resulted in my mum paying more then what was originally told.I then decided I wanted to join the gym, the guy giving the tour in the first place said that because my mum is a single parent I could be added to her membership as her 'partner' when we booked another tour (mum had been a member at least a month at this point) we were informed the information I was given was actually wrong and we couldn't do it this way, this was very frustrating as I had cancelled my other gym membership to attend this gym.Mum sent a complaint in and still heard nothing, joined another gym after this rubbish customer service, should train staff better about things they SHOULD know and you'd think with a reputation like this customer service would be at the forefront of the business - wrong.
