Beautiful flowers but not the colours I specifically asked for before placing my order, and was assured they could do. The bouquet was being made straight after I called and ordered, so they should have known what flowers they had in stock, and in any case they had my number to call me if they discovered they didn't have the ones I requested after the phone call. I now wish I had ordered from Castle Street Flowers instead (whose delivery cost is also 2 cheaper to the same address). A beautiful bouquet but not what I ordered.
I am very grateful to Lavender Hill for providing such beautiful arrangements of flowers for my mother's funeral. My mother loved flowers and plants and the flower arrangements at my wedding years ago had been breathtaking thanks to her so it was very important to me to have abundant, beautiful flowers at my mother's funeral. Lavender Hill had been recommended to me and they were fantastic. I appreciated the excellent friendly, understanding & professional service and I absolutely loved their arrangements. They were exactly what I was after - a country garden feel brimming with a wide variety of beautiful flowers and foliage. The combinations was superb. They were so elegant and they smelt wonderful too. I will definitely be using Lavender Hill again.

The flowers for our wedding were done by the amazing Sue Pritchard at the Lavender Hill Company. I met with a few different florists that I knew had our wedding venue before and Sue was the only one who, instead of showing me on a computer what she'd done to Great Fosters in the past and asking me which design I wanted, really talked my husband and I through what we liked and who we were as a couple before making suggestions and narrowing down the kind of feel we wanted. Her great skill was coaxing out the opinions we didn't know we had and transforming that into a concept. The only problem was I couldn't take any credit for the final design that everyone was complimenting - it was all entirely her brainchild!!
The Lavender Hill delivers nothing but the most inspiring designs and personal service. I have used the Lavender Hill Company for many gifts and events and never been anything but blown away by what has been delivered. The shop itself is an Aladdin's cave of gifts and flowers, different to the usual items that are commonly seen in the area. Definitely worth a visit for something out of the ordinary.
