Several years ago I had a problem with a tooth which was capped by a large gold crown. Remembering that my lovely dentist in Edinburgh who originally gave me the gold crown said that it was my property and not to let it be taken by another dentist or, on my death, by the undertakers! I therefore asked Mr Rhidian for the gold crown once he had removed it. However, after the treatment he said that he had put it in the pot and could not retrieve it. The matching gold crown on the other side has just come off, luckily whilst I was eating and not at the dentist, and I weighed it and see that the value today would be approximately 63. No wonder dentists have such luxurious lifestyles - funded by the gold taken from their patients! Be warned...! When I complained they said they would send me 2, but I never received it.
The care at this practice is second to none! The staff have been working together for years and give off such a good rapport. I have had negative experiences elsewhere and I am a very nervous patient, however after the first consultation, EVERYTHING was explained to me in such detail, I was even given a copy of my digital radiographs and photos of my teeth. I have just had my first treatment appointment and was looked after from start to finish, the treatment I received was having a metal filling removed that was decayed underneath, the staff used special filters in the surgery, and I had a small isolation covering over my tooth so any of the metal filling was caught in the isolation covering - amazing! I had a plain anaesthetic and could hardly feel that being given. I am over the moon with my new metal free filling and the treatment I have received from all of the team at the Holistic Dental Centre - THANK YOU!
I have tried to book an emergency appointment for child in pain yesterday. I have reached callcentre and was told to wait for a call back. Did wait 45 minutes and called again to reach call center. Same again - wait to call back in 15 minutes. They NEVER CALLED us back. I have double checked my phone number with them when called second time. After another 15 minutes I called different dentist nearby and booked appointment straight away and we were seen in half an hour. Whats the use of dental practise when you can not reach them to book appointment but only get frustrated?! One comment to review that they take every call seriously is a joke. If successful, why not to employ second receptionist to answer calls but cheap call center?
